Felling of two trees in the Fields

Two Cherry trees situated within the south eastern shrub border are to be felled this Autumn/Winter. Both trees are diseased with a decay fungi which is often the cause of cherry trees falling over.

Both trees have quite a lot of fungi growing on the base of the trunk which is a sign that a significant amount of decay has likely to have taken place already.

Once they have been removed I intend to plant new Cherry trees in the same location. Notices will be put up before the felling work is undertaken.

Please see site plan below that roughly shows the position of the trees to be felled.
